I am honored to be among writers chosen for Longwood University’s Author’s Series in Farmville, Virginia. On April 16th, I will speak and read from my book Human Bridges published in 2009 by Plain View Press, Austin, Texas. As a Longwood alumna and former English instructor there, I look forward to speaking with students and residents about my discoveries as a writer and writing coach. Using my experience with discovering synerlit, I hope to inspire and motivate individuals to stretch their imaginations beyond their erroneous limitations of possibilites (As Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge”). I will read excepts from my book to explain the process and perhaps from my novel, “Charmville”, (in progress), which set in Farmville.
The other featured author is the renowned poet and essayist, Alice Friman, who will present in February.
